Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will see some huge drama that will bring about some twists and turns in Kartik and Naira's life. In the recent episode, we saw that Kartik gives Kairav's custody to Naira and apologises to Naira. Naira in return gives Kartik good news and says she won't be leaving the city and taking Kairav away from him. Kartik is happy with this news. Naira also informs him that Kairav and his birthday falls on the same date. Kairav sees them talking from a distance and feels Kartik is once again hurting his mother and runs to his room.
Kartik is very happy and thanks Naira for this news. He also decides to celebrate this day. Kairav sits in a cupboard in his room and remembers all those moments when he had seen his father hurting Naira. Naksh searches for Kairav but doesn't find him and then comes to inform Kartik-Naira. He blames Kartik for Kairav going missing. Kairav is later found in the cupboard. Kartik reveals his and Kairav's birthday to the Goenkas who are also happy with this and decide to celebrate the day. The Singhanias invite Goenkas for Dusshera and during the celebrations, Kairav tries to avoid Kartik and stands behind the Raavan idol which is to be burnt. Kartik and Naira notice him and save Kairav just in time. Kartik screams at Kairav for doing such a thing. This increases hatred for Kartik in Kairav's heart. Later the families decide to celebrate Kartik and Kairav's birthday. Kairav begins hating his father and decides not to celebrate his birthday with him. In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Naira comes to know about Kairav's hatred for Kartik and will try to make Kairav understand. She will even inform it to Kartik who will be hurt to hear that. They both will try to make Kairav understand.
Kairav is no ready to accept the truth but at the end plans to reunite his parents by keeping a clause before them. He tells Kartik and Naira that he will celebrate his birthday with Kartik only if they get remarried. It will be interesting to see whether Kartik and Naira listen to Kairav.
