Chhapaak actor Vikrant Massey HIKES his fee by 40 per cent - details inside

Over the past few years, Vikrant Massey has done some extraordinary work and his projects like Mirzapur, Broken But Beautiful and Criminal Justice speak volumes about the fact. The 32-year-old seems to be a jack of all trades as he has done good work in television, Bollywood, commercials and on the digital platforms too. Needless to say, Vikrant Massey has finally arrived and carved a niche for himself in the entertainment arena. From doing TV shows to bagging a film like Chhapaak, the actor is seeing a new high on his professional front. And due to his rising popularity in the industry, it is being reported that Vikrant has upped his fee by 40 per cent. That's a big jump, we say!

A source close to this development said, "Vikrant has successfully carved a niche for himself in Bollywood and is being considered as one of the most sought-after actors in his league. His success ratio and choice of films have made him a bankable actor. Producers have faith in his acting prowess and popularity with the youth, and hence, do not hesitate to invest in him more. He knows how much rides on his shoulders and the responsibility that comes with it."

In the past, Vikrant has featured in Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, Half Girlfriend among others.

Whichever project that Vikrant signs next, he will apparently charge his hiked fee. The talented actor has a bundle of projects lined up. He is playing Deepika Padukone's love interest in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. The film is based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal's life and it releases on January 10, 2020.

Besides Chhapaak, Vikrant has Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamkte Sitare by Alankrita Shrivastava, Seema Pahwa s directorial debut Pind Daan, Cargo, Yaar Jigri and Ginny Weds Sunny, which is a romantic comedy. Not to forget, Vikrant is also shooting for the second season of Broken But Beautiful.
