Last night, we saw the edge of the seat showdown between England and New Zealand, who fought one last time to clinch the ICC World Cup. Both the teams scored 241 runs in their 50 overs, which resulted into a tie and we got a super over. The super over again ended into a tie as they hit 16 runs in their 1 over but England was declared as the winners because they hit more boundaries in the complete innings. Despite not being an India match, it garnered great viewership as many Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Farhan Akhtar and many others expressed their excitement on the social media.
