Salman Khan is a much-revered actor has fans in almost every nook and corner of the country. And as he set about to begin the next schedule of Dabangg 3 in Phaltan, Salman was welcomed with huge cheering crowds. A video going viral on social media showcases Salman travelling in an open jeep as crowds thronged the actor. Fans crowded around Salman's car and his bodyguards jumped into action to safely get the actor out of the massively crowded street. Check out the video below:

Dabangg 3 is the third film in the action franchise and the team is in Phaltan for a 10-day long schedule. Salman Khan will return as Chulbul Pandey while Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Mahie Gill will reprise in their respective characters of Rajjo, Makkhanchand Pandey and Nirmala.
Reports suggest that Salman Khan s character in Dabangg 3 will go through a flashback phase and for those sequences, Salman will be losing a lot of weight. Working on his lean avatar, Salman has been hitting the gym frequently. "In the flashback portions, Chulbul is a man in his 20s, and Salman has been hitting the gym to get the required look," a source informed Mumbai Mirror.
Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudheva and features South actor Kichcha Sudeep as the antagonist. "In Salman s absence, Prabhudheva will shoot Sudeep s solo portions in the city. Since he is a big star down South, the plan is to present him in a certain way. He will also have a grand introduction. The film is set in the past and present and Sudeep s character is involved in both. This time, it s the antagonist who is the catalyst in the story," a source told us. Sudeep has been showering love on his Dabangg co-star and often posts about Salman on his Instagram account.
Dabangg 3 is scheduled to hit the screens on December 20.
