A week back, Erica Fernandes posted a snap of hers from Kasautii Zindagii Kay's Switzerland schedule. In the picture, she was dressed in a ruffled saree which was green in colour with prints. Needless to say, the saree looked lovely. Erica with her height and poise is one of the prettiest actresses in sarees as it is evident from Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The ruffled saree is one trend that our TV actresses are acing and how. We first saw the ruffled chiffon saree on Drashti Dhami in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. The TV diva looked heavenly on the show with her gorgeous sarees, bindis and earrings. Well, Erica Fernandes has beaten Drashti by a small margin in our poll. We guess that Drashti's fans will have to try a little harder next time around.
Drashti also looked great in a grey coloured chiffon with magenta prints. Shraddha Arya came third in our poll. Ever since, Prerna (Erica Fernandes) made an entry into the Basu household claiming her rights as the wife, she has been sporting gorgeous sarees.
The ruffled saree is one vintage trend that is being sported nowadays. Ruffles add an amount of glamour, retro vibes and style to an outfit. However, you need a personality to carry it off. It is better on petite women as it looks somewhat voluminous. Even Bollywood beauties have worn it on red carpets and weddings. Jacqueline Fernandez, Shilpa Shetty, Sonam Kapoor are some celebs who carry off ruffles nicely.
