Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop-actioner Sooryavanshi is making right noise at the moment. The makers are sharing some extraordinary content on social media and raising our excitement and anticipation for the film. We had already informed you that the talented star Abhimanyu Singh, who has shown his acting skills in movies like Aks, Gulaal, Rakhta Charitra and Gulaal is playing the lead antagonist in the film. Now the interesting news has come out that lead star Akshay Kumar and director Rohit Shetty have turned tutor for Abhimanyu, as he had never performed this kind of action sequences earlier.
Abhimanyu told Mumbai Mirror, For this film, I am jumping from one building to another and the
elaborate action sequences are stretching up to 13 15 days of shoot. So, I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but Rohit sir made me comfortable and Akshay sir guided me well, even rehearsing the scenes with me and
making sure that I remembered every move before the cameras rolled, informs the actor, who recently wrapped up the Hyderabad schedule of the film."
He further added, Rohit sir taught me how to maintain my balance and posture after a jump, while for a sequence, where I was supposed to cross a huge gap between two buildings with the help of a ladder, Akshay sir told me to remain calm and be confident. He doesn t shy away from doing any kind of action, which inspired me a lot. Through the process, I ve learnt that it s more about the right technique than anything else. Now I can say that I m more fearless. The movie, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27, 2020, also stars Katrina Kaif and Gulshan Grover.
Meanwhile, Akshay will next be seen in Mission Mangal, which is scheduled to release on August 15 during the Independence Day weekend. The film will be jointly-partnered by Pad Man helmer R Balki and is directed by Jagan Shakti. The film features the ensemble cast of Sharman Joshi, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles.
