Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan to recreate THIS iconic song in Coolie No 1 - deets inside

Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No 1 is set to go on floors on August 5 in Bangkok. While we are more than excited to watch the sizzling chemistry between this fresh couple, the makers have shared a news, which will definitely raise your anticipation. If you are a 90s kid, Govinda-Karisma Kapoor's Coolie No 1 definitely must be one of your favourite comic capers and the peppy songs from the film are still popular among the masses. Now the makers have decided to recreate one of the iconic tracks from Coolie No 1 for the remake, which is Mein Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha.

The recreated version will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Talking about the track, director David Dhawan said, It is an important song for our film, and it has heart. But times have changed so I am going to picturise it very differently with Varun and Sara." Recalling about the original track, David said, . We found a place in Bangalore with lot of Bhel Puri stalls and had the lead pair (Govinda and Karisma) strolling through it, exploring Mumbai . I thought it was the best way to capture the essence of the Maximum City back then." Well, this song will definitely make a noise among the college kids. Also featuring Paresh Rawal in a key role. It is set to hit the screens on May 1, 2020

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Street Dancer 3D. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Shakti Mohan, Vartika Jha, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Raghav Juyal in key roles. The film will be shot in 3D and converted to 4DX later. It is scheduled to release on January 24, 2020. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series.
