ICYMI, Shraddha Kapoor and Rohan Shrestha's wedding became the talk of the town recently. Until the star daddy Shakti Kapoor himself dismissed the reports in his own inimitable style. Speculations about Shraddha Kapoor dating celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha have been in the news for over a year now. It was in the month of August 2018, when the first report about their rumoured relationship surfaced. "Rohan and Shraddha are spending quality time with each other these days. They have immense respect for each other and make for one fabulous pair," a source was quoted as saying to an entertainment portal. To be specific, it was an Instagram comment by Rohan on Shraddha's post which had sparked the rumours. Days after these reports spread like wildfire, Rohan issued a clarification saying he is only good friends with Shraddha.
"We have been extremely close for the last 9 years, but NO, I am not dating her. I met her at a party and we instantly hit it off. First impressions I definitely thought she was cute, but have only remained best friends ever since," Rohan had told a leading daily.
Two months later in November 2018, Rohan and Shraddha were once again in the news after the former had left on a heart and bang emoji on Kapoor's post where she spoke about her being back to the sets of Saina Nehwal biopic. The Baaghi 2 star had thanked everyone who sent her good wishes while she was being treated with dengue.
In between, Rohan and Shraddha's casual dinner outings followed and they also made a joint appearance at Karan Johar's Diwali Bash. And not to forget the time when the duo partied the night away at their friend Athiya Shetty's birthday bash. A picture of the trio had gone viral over the web.
Well, there have been a number of occasions where Rohan and Shraddha Kapoor were seen chilling with their friends. A lot of pictures online prove that. Cut to June 2019, after wrapping up a schedule of Street Dancer 3D, Shraddha Kapoor headed to Antalya, Turkey for a photoshoot. And it was interestingly done by her rumoured beau and celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha.
Just a month later (July 2019), now a Mumbai Mirror report has stated that Shraddha and Rohan are planning to perform the nuptials by next year. The report has suggested that Shraddha and Rohan are planning to tie the knot by 2020. Preparations for the wedding have apparently begun already. It is also being said that Shraddha s mother, Shivangi Kapoor is super enthusiastic and is toying with a lot of ideas for the wedding.
However, when Shraddha's dad Shakti Kapoor was asked about the same, the veteran actor told IANS, "Really? My daughter is getting married? Please don't forget to invite me too, to the wedding. Let me know where the wedding is, I will be there. I am the father and yet I have no clue. So, please let me know."
