After much speculation and hide-and-seek game, the first collaboration of Dhanush and Gautham Menon Enai Noki Paayum Thotta gets a confirmed release date. The film will now release on September 6 worldwide and this was confirmed by the director Gautham Menon himself. Taking to his Twitter page, Gautham Menon confirmed the release date and also thanked everyone involved in the project including the investors. Gautham also shared the official release trailer of the film besides the release date confirmation. "With due respect and thanks to everybody involved with this film, the investors, people who have stood by the film and me, to those who have invested across my other films, to everybody who's been of some form of support or the other to me," wrote Gautham Menon.

Touted to a romantic tale with lots of action, Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta was slated to be released in December 2017 initially but got delayed to multiple reasons. Director Gautham Menon, who is also co-producing the film, is putting in heavy efforts to block the release date and it may likely happen. Fans of Dhanush and the filmmaker will look forward to more concrete information on this. The film has already completed censor formalities and is ready to hit the screens.
The teaser of the film was released a long time ago along with couple of singles from the music album of the film, which are very impressive and has kept the audiences waiting for the film. Gautham Menon has, however, not revealed the music composer for the film and had termed him Mr.X all this while. This has created more suspense around the film and has kept fans of Tamil films waiting even more. Later, Gautham Menon revealed that the music of the film is composed by Darbuka Siva. Expectations on Ennai Nokki Paayum Thota are quite high since Dhanush and Gautham Menon are teaming up for the first time in their illustrious careers.
