IIFA 2019: Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor were the best-dressed celebs at the gala

Amidst torrential downpour, Bollywood hosted IIFA 2019 last night and it was the biggest gala of them all! The IIFA homecoming which took place in Mumbai to celebrate its 20th year saw the who's who of showbiz turning up for the starry night, looking like a million bucks obviously. Actors including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Aparshakti Khurana, Vicky Kaushal, Mouni Roy, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia Deshmukh, Swara Bhasker, Urvashi Rautela, Zaheer Iqbal, Daisy Shah, Nikhil Diwedi, Gulshan Grover, Radhika Madan, Neil Nitin Mukesh were amongst the many who stepped out in a rainy night for the most glamourous award function. But as they say, showbiz never stops for anything and we couldn't be more grateful. Before you start comparing, this breath-taking Gaurav Gupta number is nowhere similar to Kylie Jenner's Met Gala gown by Versace but it wouldn't be wrong to say the vibe and spell were the same! Cause with dramatic sleeves and a gossamer tulle hood, complemented with a soft feather trail, Deepika looked like she descended from someplace above. In fact, middle-parting has never looked this glamorous!

Mrunal Thakur

Even Mrunal Thakur looked a sight to behold in an edgy, metallic outfit by Amit Aggarwal in green. The asymmetrical gown with a cold-shoulder sat well and accentuated Mrunal's sharp features and how! Now that's how you spin a look with just minimal accessories and bang-on makeup. Fierce, is the word!

Radhika Madan

Radhika Madan showcased the old world charm in an ethereal Supria Munjal creation in crimson red. With a plunging neckline and bouncy side waves, the actress was ready to take on the green carpet and any damn carpet there is!

Aditi Rao Hydari

Even Aditi Rao Hydrai brought her A-game on the IIFA carpet, dressed in a high-slit black cocktail dress by Falguni Shane Peacock. She wore it with a matching choker and messy hair, the actress stopped the press!

Shahid Kapoor

The only B-town hunk who made it to the best-dressed list is also B-town's handsome dad of two - Shahid Kapoor! The actor left us speechless in his Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna black embellished suit. With the right amount of charm and attitude, Shahid looked like a million bucks.
