Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor shot viral ad separately? Here's what the actress has to say!

A lot has been written and said about Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and their relationship. The ex-flames courted for six years before calling it quits in 2016. The reason behind their fallout is still unknown, and the two have never even spoken about it in public but nothing takes away from the fact that everything happened under the public eye. Rumours were rife about bad blood and things got worse when Ranbir Kapoor started dating Alia Bhatt who was close friends with Katrina Kaif. While water has passed under that bridge and both the actresses claim that things are cordial between them. But things with Ranbir still remained unfriendly, some speculated. But like they say, haters gonna hate! Which is exactly what happened when naysayers over-analysed the commercial for the mobile brand and commented that the actors who were seen playing with the phone's zoom lens, shot for the ad separately and it is the magic of VFX that they were seen together! But Katrina has had enough! That's right, the diva has squashed the rumours when she told Mumbai Mirror plan and simple - "Not true, we shot it together completely!" So, now you know!

Recently, in an interview with Neha Dhupia, Katrina opened up on her relationship with Ranbir. She said, "There was another phase which came, which was also great and it was a phase where I think I kind of let go a bit and I was really consumed and taken over by something else in my life which was not my work." She added, "Basically the relationship that was in my life became my focus and I was happy. I don't say that in a regretful way. What I did in that, maybe which in retrospect you learn from is I probably let a lot of things in the way I was working slide a bit."

Meanwhile, Ranbir will be next seen in Brahmastra along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and is releasing in Summer 2020. Also backed by Fox Star Studios, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna in key roles. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif will be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also stars Abhimanyu Singh and Gulshan Grover, it is set to hit the screens on March 27 next year.
