Vijay Deverakonda has turned producer with Meeku Mathrame Cheptha which will star Tharun Bhascker, Abhishek Gomatam and Avantika Mishra in lead roles. The actor who gained popularity as Arjun Reddy yet again after Kabir Singh's release has been making headlines for his recent film Dear Comrade as well. The film tanked at the box office but received good reviews from the critics. The actor recently revealed the name of his favourite actor and actress and we surely like the answer.
When quizzed about his favourite actor and actress, Vijay told BT, "Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently my favourite actors. Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington have been all-time favourites." Vijay has been making frequent trips to Mumbai which sparked the rumours about his Bollywood debut. The Dear Comrade actor was all smiles and said, "It's time a Hindi film happened. I am as curious as you are to see where this goes."
Talking about working in Mumbai, Vijay said, "I haven't spent much time here and whenever I am in this city, it's always for work. Every time I am here, the constant thing I do is see Karan Johar. He is my only connect to this part of the world and has been the warmest host and chillest dude."
Speaking about Vijay Deverakonda, the Arjun Reddy actor has named his production house 'The Ant Hill'. The name proves yet again Vijay's choice of doing something different from the crowd. Vijay's father Vardhan Deverakonda taking care of the production of films, Meeku Mathrame Cheptha being the first.
