Movies This Week: Ujda Chaman, Bhangra Paa Le, Terminator: Dark Fate, The Current War

Last Friday, being the Diwali weekend, saw the release of Housefull 4, Saand Ki Aankh & Made in China hit the screens. As expected, Housefull 4 got a great opening. Now this Friday there are a couple of films lined-up for release. In Hindi, there's Ujda Chaman and Bhangra Paa Le, while Terminator: Dark Fate and The Current War are the Hollywood films that are scheduled to release.

Ujda Chaman

Director: Abhishek Pathak, Danish Singh

Cast: Gagan Arora, Abhilash Chaudhary, Maanvi Gagroo

Synopsis: Ujda Chaman is about a 30 -year-old bachelor Chaman Kohli, a Hindi lecturer with Premature Balding and in quest of a beautiful wife. After facing several rejections as a prospective groom because of his baldness, Chaman hits rock bottom when an astrologer gives him a deadline to find himself a wife or remain a celibate forever. This leads Chaman on a funny and emotional roller coaster ride of self-discovery and acceptance.

Bhangra Paa Le

Director: Sneha Taurani

Cast: Mark Bennington, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Naila Grewal

Synopsis: Bhangra Paa Le is set to be a bridge between the traditional forms of Bhangra from Punjab and western dance forms from across the world.

Terminator: Dark Fate

Director: Tim Miller

Cast: Mackenzie Davis, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong

Synopsis: Skynet`s next target is a young girl named Dani Ramos, and a new Terminator prototype (Rev-9) from the future is sent to kill her. In order to protect Dani from Rev-9, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) teams up with the original Terminator T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and a hybrid cyborg human named Grace.

The Current War

Director: Alfonso Gomez-Rejon

Cast: Tom Holland, Matthew Macfadyen, Benedict Cumberbatch

Synopsis: Two of the greatest innovators of the industrial age, Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse engage in a battle to determine whose electrical system would power the modern world.
