Nach Baliye 9 might just turn out to be the biggest reality show of the year! The reason being the presence of Salman Khan who is stepping in as the producer. We also have exes participating in the show in the form of rumoured contestants, Madhurima Tuli - Vishal Aditya Singh and Urvashi Dholakia - Anuj Sachdeva. Salman Khan earlier said, "Nach Baliye this year is going to be all about entertainment with our new concept of getting not just couples but ex-couples under one roof." Now, Mumbai Mirror has learnt that the makers are trying to get Ranveer Singh - Deepika Padukone to increase the star power and entertainment quotient of the first show.
A source revealed to Mumbai Mirror, "The channel is in talks with the couple to make an appearance, and unless the schedule of their sports drama which is currently on in London is hit for a six, they will be the first celebrity guests. The opening episode will be shot in the second week of July."
Salman will also be present during the grand premiere and introduce the contestants to the audience. "He will be hosting the episode and there will be lots of fun banter between Ranveer, Deepika and him," the source further said. If things do work out, this will be Ranveer and Deepika's first joint appearance on a TV show after their Italian wedding in November 2018. The other couples participating are Faisal Khan - Muskaan Kataria, Shantanu Maheshwari - Nityami, Rochelle Rao - Keith Sequeira, Sourabh Raaj Jain and his wife and perhaps Anita Hassanandani - Rohit Reddy. The star couple is now in London for the shoot of '83. Deepika is playing the role of Romi Dev in the film.
Raveena Tandon is finalised as one of the judges of season nine. Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani and Shahid Kapoor's names are also doing the rounds as one of the new-age judges. Ali Abbas Zafar is also apparently on board. Talks are on and they will be finalised in a couple of days. Stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates!
