After the sensational exit of Mouni Roy from Nawazuddin Siddiqui-led Bole Chudiyan, the makers have finally found a replacement for the Naagin actress. According to Bombay Times' report, Tamannaah Bhatia has come on board as the new female lead of the movie. Bhatia has stepped into Roy's shoes. The Shamas Siddiqui's directorial will kickstart the filming in Rajasthan and wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule. While talking about her excitement to join the cast, Tamannaah said, "I m looking forward to this project. The script is good, and this is the first time I will be attempting such a multi-layered character in a mainstream Bollywood film. What really caught my attention was the story, which revolves around a relevant issue."
Talking about her new co-star film's lead Nawazuddin in a statement said, "I m happy that Tamannaah has joined our film. I feel that she is the right choice for this role." While the movie's director Shamas added, "Tamannaah has that spark, along with the dedication that I was looking for in my heroine." Also, the film's producers Kiran Bhatia and Rajesh Bhatia also seemed elated with their new heroine. "Tamannaah fits the character like a glove. We couldn t have asked for anyone better," Kiran said, while Rajesh signed off, saying, "Tamannaah and Nawaz bhai make for a great pair. The best part is that she exudes positive energy, and is an extremely dedicated and disciplined artiste."
Earlier, in May, Mouni Roy who was cast for the role originally, was asked to leave the movie, by the producers who cited "unprofessionalism" to be the reason.

In a statement film producer Rajesh said, "We have invested big amount of money and if asking someone in a civil manner to be professional and committed to the role is being rude than sorry we are in the serious business of making movies with high stakes and it s not a hobby." He further added, "The actor, director, me and Kiran (Bhatia) as content head and as producers did our best to reason out with her about lack of her professionalism and dedication but she suddenly lost cool and was ill tempered."
On the other hand, the mud-slinging continued, when a statement was released on Mouni's behalf as well. A statement on her behalf read, "Mouni Roy is no longer a part of the film. Mouni has done many films before and has had a successful career, where everyone has vouched for her professionalism. Mr. Rajesh Bhatia on the other hand, is making his second film. His first film (Motichoor Chaknachoor) has already run into many controversies, where he has even accused a senior actor of interference. He is now claiming that Mouni is not a professional, whereas there are several emails and text messages proving otherwise, which we will be happy to share. Even the contract isn t signed because of the discrepancies in it."
Well, now that Tamannaah is a part of the movie, let's see how does it turn out to be.
