Deverakonda plays a fervid college-going who finds his love in Rashmika Mandanna. His Geetha Govindam co-star plays a state-level cricketer in Dear Comrade who is clear about what she wants in life. Their love life is disturbed by Vijay's escapades which results in a distance between the couple. Vijay's enactment as an angry young man is admirable and keeps you hooked onto the trailer. Rashmika Mandanna's simple look is a delight and the actress unleashes the performer in her in Dear Comrade. Director Bharat Kamma seems to have captured the essence of troubles a relationship would have in a raw manner which shows off in the trailer.

Dear Comrade is the second collaboration of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, and the makers seem to have taken utmost care in ensuring the pair doesn't look like their previous collaboration. Set in a college backdrop, Dear Comrade seems to be raw, intense and fast-paced with some energetic scenes. The cinematography is handled by Sujith Sarang who adds more energy with his visuals. Justin Prabhakaran has composed the music of the film and the young artist brings a refreshing feel to the genre with his background score and album. Dear Comrade is produced by Big Ben Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers jointly and is slated to be released on July 26 worldwide. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously.
