Synopsis: Based on Pakadva Vivah that prevails in Bihar and some smaller town in India, Jabariya Jodi narrates the story of a thug who kidnaps grooms in order to help them avoid paying out heavy dowries for their wedding. With the entry of the heroine, his whole ambition and life turn topsy-turvy. Sidharth steps into the role of a gunda Abhay Singh and we think he has gripped it very well. Parineeti does a fair job as Babli Yadav. She eases into her character and what do we say about SidNeeti's chemistry, they are a BOMB on screen.

Chicken Curry Law

Cast: Nivedita Bhattacharya, Natalia Janoszek, Ashutosh Rana, Makrand Despande, Ganesh Pai, Zakir Hussain, Aman Verma

Director: Shekhar Sirrinn

Synopsis: Chicken Curry Law follows the story of a foreign national, Maya Johnson who shifts to India to make a career of her own. But her life takes unfortunate turn when she gets raped by two politically influential men. A local social activist (Nivedita Bhattacharya) finds Maya on the Mumbai streets naked and rescues her. She decides to bring the culprits to court. The local activist with the help of lawyer (Ashutosh Rana) decides fights her case. What follows is a courtroom drama, victim blaming, and the need for justice.
