Deepika Padukone dancing on the ramp after her walk is how you stop a show! - watch video

Deepika Padukone recently returned to the bay with hubby Ranveer Singh after wrapping up the first schedule of Kabir Khan's '83 where the miyaan biwi will be seen together for the first time after their marriage. While that is that, we are eager to see what DeePee does next to entertain and enthrall her fans like she always does. Or rather, we were because as of now, she has done something already and we're just thankful. If you have missed it somehow, the actress turned showstopper for Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's fashion show last night and it was a dream come true!

Deepika Padukone wore an exquisite ivory lehenga with rose gold, shimmer detailing and fine embroidery and honestly, it reminded of us another Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation in white which she wore at her wedding reception. For she wore the veil as a trail again yesterday only sans the saree. But the ensemble spoke its own language she paired it with a matching full-sleeves blouse. But what if we say that wasn't even the best part cause it came after the she had sashayed solo. Deepika being the goofball she is danced by the end of it all and boy, was it a party on the ramp. Check out the video here!

On the work front, Deepika has wrapped up Chhapaak. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. In the film, Deepika will be seen romancing Vikrant Massey. Chhapaak will release in January next year. She will also be seen in 83 opposite Ranveer Singh for the first time after their marriage and interestingly, they'll be seen playing an on-screen couple in the film. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan and is based on the first Cricket World Cup triumphant team which included the likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Kris Srikanth and others. Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Kapil Dev in 83 and most part of the film has already been shot. Stay tuned to BL for more updates and scoops!
