EXCLUSIVE! Vahbiz Dorabjee: I do feel that my talent is untapped

Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee, recently broke the internet, when she came out in open and spoke about her ordeal with body shaming. The actress who made her debut with Pyar Ki Ek Kahani spoke the stigma and hurdles she had to face due to her unconventional body type. And after all that, the actress is quite pepped for her upcoming project. Dorabjee is currently putting all her focus on her work. Recently, Dorabjee got in an exclusive chat with BollywoodLife talking about her work front. She revealed to us that she has a constant itch to experiment and that is the reason she is conscious while choosing a project.

She explained, "I have always loved taking on challenges. For me, versatility is important as an actor as I can't be doing the same thing day in and day out. Monotony is my worst fear!" She also showed her interest in other mediums. "I would love to take on a challenging role on the web or even films which helps me grow as an actor. Each medium has a different beat and with each medium comes a different way to storytelling, varied ways of characterization and hence for an actor its a completely new zone. And as actors, I believe that we are living in a brilliant day and age, where we have a choice of so many mediums and content to choose from. No longer should you only be a 'tv' actor or a 'theatre' actor or a 'digital' face? We all are actors who are here to entertain and the fluidity in the mediums should allow us to choose. I know I have two mediums on my mind already which I am excited to venture into and test waters, after already having done so with television and modeling."

Vahbiz was last seen trying her hands in the comedy genre, with Bahu Humari Rajnikant. When asked if she is happy with her career trajectory, Vahbiz retorted, "I do feel that my talent is untapped and I could do much better for myself. However, I'm not unsatisfied." She further went on to add, "I am thankful for everything I have bagged and the journey I have had so far. Everyone has a ladder they climb up and grow and so I am looking forward to more rocking roles. I believe in myself and I know that the journey ahead is going to be one that helps me challenge the actor inside me as well as entertain my audience. "

Vahbiz also revealed that she has an interesting project in her kitty, however, she refused to divulge any information. "Well its a little too early to speak about it but yes you shall hear the news very very soon," she concluded.
