Rishi Kapoor is looking forward to facing the camera but hopes he hasn't forgotten acting

Rishi Kapoor has been away from films and his life in Mumbai for the last 10 months. After he was diagnosed with cancer, the senior actor had to immediately rush to New York for the treatment. The 102 not out actor was accompanied by his wife Neetu Kapoor, who has been his pillar of strength. Now that Rishi Kapoor is cancer-free, the actor is missing home and wants to return to films as soon as possible."I miss working more than ever now. I've never had such a big break in my life and I've been working for 45 years. By the time I get back, it will be 11 months and it has been very long. But in a way, I feel very fresh and geared up to do any kind of work," the veteran star was quoted as saying to Hindustan Times.

Rishi further mentioned that he is looking forward to facing the camera soon and hopes he hasn't forgotten acting. The actor is also sceptical of how his work would be welcomed by the people. Being at his candid best, Kapoor retorted, "Right now, I don't know if my work will be welcomed or if people are going to trash me. When I was going through treatment, I had a few blood transfusions. And I told Neetu that I hope with the new blood, I haven't forgotten acting."

The Bobby actor wasn't only away from films but also social media. If you're a Twitter user, you must be aware of the fact that Rishi Kapoor is an avid social media user and he voices his opinions as and when needed. And for the first five months, while he was in the hospital for his treatment, Rishi Kapoor shared how he could barely update his well-wishers via Twitter. "For the first five months, I was barely tweeting because I was in the hospital going through treatment. Not that we couldn't have dealt with it there [in India] but I had a certain problem that could only be dealt with here. Only now I am much better and free of cancer. But I feel indebted to everyone who came to see me," added Rishi Kapoor.

While the actor was undergoing treatment in NYC, several celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Goldie Behl and Sonali Bendre, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Aamir Khan and others paid a visit to Rishi. And he was more than happy to be surrounded by them.

As much as Rishi Kapoor is looking forward to facing the camera again, we are equally excited to see him back in action. What about you?
